Carbon Dioxide is a by-product of the wine fermentation process and poses safety risks to workers through displacement/depletion of normal oxygen levels. Monitoring of Carbon Dioxide and concurrently, oxygen are therefore, critical safety measures in the wine industry. Additionally, Sulfur Dioxide, a highly toxic gas utilized for anti-microbial and antioxidant properties, requires monitoring at low ppm (parts-per-million) levels to ensure workplace safety. |

The Vin-Safe Gas Detection System provides multi-point, continuous monitoring of specific gas hazards encountered in the processing of Wines. System configuration is very flexible, utilizing a daisy-chain Network connection of Gas Detectors for simplicity of installation and continuous surveillance and diagnostics. Additional Alarms (strobes/horn) as well as Relay Modules are easily installed at any point on the Network to accommodate specific requirements. Interface Modules are available for connection to host control systems, if required. The Vin-Safe Detection System features Auto-Configuration whereby the Control Panel recognizes any Gas Detector added to the Network and automatically configures the Panel to proper settings. No specialized knowledge of configuration or settings required by end-user to expand the Network at any time. |
