Mil-Ram Technology's Engineered Systems
Mil-Ram Technology, Inc. develops its own sensors and designs and packages custom systems using their Patended Tox-Array Sensors that feature no false alarms. There is a Sample-Draw option for areas that are too hot or too cold to detect gases by diffusion. Also available is a Pyrolyzer for detection of chlorofluoro-carbons (Freons- (tm) and other compounds. The D. DAS 1536 (Digital Data Acquisition System is offered for multi-point systems with capacity of 1536 points on one twisted pair of wires. SafEye 200 Series Open Path Gas Detector
SafEye 200 Series Open Path Gas Detector is a self-contained, fast response optical gas detection system. It detects combustible gases at concentrations lower than the explosion limit (LEL) over a "Line of Sight" of up to 460 ft. (140m) long. SafEye is the preferred system for offshore oil companies because it is immune to false alarms caused by partial blockage and extreme weather conditions (fog, rain, snow) and direct or reflected sunlight, flame and other black body radiation sources.
SafEye 300 Series IR Open Path (Line of Sight) Gas Detection System
SafEye 300 Series IR Open Path (Line of Sight) Gas Detection System provides sensitive (LEL level) monitoring of hydrocarbon gases such as methane, butane, etc. SafEye 300 Gas Detector monitors hydrocarbon gases at low concentrations over an optical path of up to 49.5ft. (30m). The system has a response time of up to 10 seconds with an option for faster gas detection of 2 seconds at short ranges.
SafEye 400 UV Open Path (Line of Sight) Gas Detection System
SafEye 400 UV Open Path (Line of Sight) Gas Detection System provides sensitive (PPM level) monitoring of Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S), Ammonia and Aromatic gases. SafEye 400 monitors toxic and aromatic gases at low concentrations over an optical path of up to 330 ft. (100m). The system has a fast response time of up to 10 seconds.
SafEye 700 Optical Open Path (line of sight) Gas Detection System
SafEye 700 Optical Open Path (line of sight) Gas Detection System employs "spectral fingerprint" analysis of the atmosphere using the Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy (DOAS) technique in a unique (patented) method. SafEye 700 consists of an advanced Xenon Flash infrared transmitter (source) and infrared detector (receiver), separated over a line of sight from 13 ft. (4m) up to 460 ft. (140m) to detect and quantify flammable gas presence, even when challenged by extremely harsh environments where dust, fog, rain, snow or vibration can cause a high reduction of signal.

The New RS485/4-20mA 3 or 4-Wire Self-Calibration smarter Transmitter features Labor-free auto self-calibration, Auto gas calibration in 2 minutes, Remaining sensor life and replace sensor indicator, Peak Value, Loop Test, Diagnostics, Backlit 12 x 2 LCD display, Off-site sensor calibration, Rapid Warm-Up and more. Optional features are four 12-15 Amp time delay relays in the same enclosure option and RS 485 Modbus RTU option.

D. DAS 1536 Windows Data Acquisition System
The Digital Data Acquisition System - D.DAS 1536 - provides numerous capabilities with ease of interface. It features 24-hour continuous monitoring of Toxics, Combustibles and Oxygen, is PC-based for the Tox-Array 2000 six point controllers, has up to 1536 points of detection on one twisted pair of wires, displays historical data - STELs, TWAs and real time data, and has many more features.

Microprocessor-based, programmable, for one to six channels, dedicated, .56" LED digital readouts, three alarm relays, and recorder outputs for each channel, buzzer with reset, 115/230 VAC, 12-30 VDC with option for battery backup with charger. Tox-Array 1000
Tox-Array 1000 Portable Instrument
Hand-held, easy-to-operate, field-rugged portable instrument available in diffusion or sample-draw configurations. It uses the same patented Mil-Ram sensors; is warranted for three years and will not give false alarms. It weighs less than two pounds and can be strapped to your belt. One set of C-size alkaline batteries will run over 2,443 hours (over 300 8-hour shifts).

Calibration Kits and Gases
Calibration Kits and replacement cylinders for use in calibrating Mil-Ram's no false alarms, chemically selective Toxic, LEL and O2 patented sensors that do not react with air, have no zero drift, are not sensitive to changes in temperature, humidity or pressure and stay awake when gas is absent. Recovery is less than 30 seconds even when exposed to high gas levels and have over three years no maintenance life for each factory charge.
